September 25th kicks off National Drive Electric Week, and you will have a chance to get a hands-on experience with electric cars, bikes, and scooters right here in Buffalo.
National Drive Electric Week takes place from September 25th until October 3rd, 2021. Th kick off the week, several Buffalo businesses are coming together to “Electrify Buffalo” with a community ride-around.
The community ride-around will take place at the BNMC Innovation Center parking lot at 589 Ellicott Street in Buffalo. During the event you will be able to Test drive electric vehicles, demo EV charging stations, and take a ride-around on e-scooters, e-bikes, e-backhoes, and other electric transport!
You will have to be 18 years old or older to demo the electric moods of transportation, but the event is open to people of all ages. Besides the demos, there will be food trucks, raffle prizes, and a kid zone.
Admission to the event is free.
This event in Buffalo is one of over 150 nationwide events that are happening to promote electric vehicles and the benefits of using electric modes of transportation.

It made electric cars from 1912 until 1915.
