GM is betting on its pivot to an all-electric car fleet

GM is one of the world’s largest automakers. It has a bevy of models under the Buick, Chevy, Cadillac, and GMC brands. It also built one of the world’s first electric cars, the EV1. While the EV1 lived a short life, GM is once again betting on electric cars. The company said it “aspires to eliminate tailpipe emissions from new light-duty vehicles by 2035” – meaning that GM intends to stop selling gas-burning cars.
