Tracker Network UK has appointed insurtech expert Luke Anyon as insurance sales director, spearheading its telematics growth plans.
Anyon moves from technology firm CDL, where he gained over 14 years of experience in business and telematics development, and will lead the insurance sales team at Tracker.
The move signals the firm’s commitment to accelerating its market share within both the personal and commercial lines insurance markets.
The business already has some 30 years of service to the insurance industry through its stolen vehicle recovery technology and its work has been enhanced more recently by its usage-based and self-install telematics applications, which have also helped to reduce insurer and broker loss ratios.
Tracker has also developed its intelligent car services offering, including the smart-tag and smartphone app solution, based on its combined telematics capabilities and insurance knowledge.
Mark Rose, managing director for Tracker, said: “The appointment of Luke not only recognises the importance of our growing portfolio of telematics and connected car services and clients in the insurance arena, but also their role in the future success of the business. We are delighted to welcome Luke to our management team and look forward to benefiting from his insurtech acumen to drive forward our ambitions.”
